To develop best practices for the deployment of next-generation mobile, fibre and IoT-connectivity in cities.
What we do
Through research, meetings, playbooks, case studies and an online community, the CTA focuses on tackling the following:
- How to assess the connectivity needs of a city
- How to organise a deployment project, both within the city administration and outside
- How to support the planning of mobile, fibre and IoT-connectivity to meet service needs
- How to identify the locations and assets available for network cell sites
- How to manage the city’s administrative processes for the installation of cell sites with power and fibre connections
